Coming from the Royal Slope AVA, this Mourvèdre shows plum with floral notes. The great acidity on the front of the palate leads into flavors of sage, rose petals and dark fruit. The finish is long and gives the taster a profile of umami and smoked meats. Drink over the next 12 years.
