Andrew Januik 2020 Southern Sojourn Syrah
The idea for "Southern Sojourn" came from a lifetime of exploring wines and cultures from across the globe. I hope to share a small fraction of the experiences I have been given by others' generosity with the wine in this bottle.
Coming from the granitic soils of the Almahue Valley, it shows nuanced dark fruit and minerality. Slow maturation of the grapes followed by a 100% native yeast fermentation lead to a graceful and age-worthy wine.
