Andrew Januik 2020 Southern Sojourn Carmenere
The idea for "Southern Sojourn" came from a lifetime of exploring wines and cultures from across the globe. I hope to share a small fraction of the experiences I have been given by others' generosity with the wine in this bottle.
Using 75-year-old vines planted in the Almahue Valley, birthplace of Carménère in Chile, this wine shows a distinct sense of time and place. The 100% native yeast fermentation gives a textured mouthfeel with intense notes of red fruit.
